Flexible Online Booking and Bilingual SEO for a New Dog Grooming Salon in El Paso

Chancho Grooming Salon opened with no search history and no booking system. It needed customers to be able to see every service on offer, in the language they speak, and book without a phone call.

About the Client

Chancho Grooming Salon is a dog grooming business serving the Greater El Paso Area in Texas. It was a new business when this project started, which meant no existing traffic, no rankings and nothing to redesign.

The Challenge

A new grooming salon has two problems at the same moment. Nobody knows the name yet, so every customer has to arrive through search, and there is no booking habit yet either, so anything that adds friction between finding the salon and reserving a slot costs a client outright.

El Paso adds a third. It is a bilingual market, and a grooming site written only in English quietly excludes a large share of the people searching for exactly this service. A list of services somebody cannot read is not a list of services.

What I Built

Flexible online booking, so a customer picks a service and a time in the browser rather than calling during salon hours and hoping somebody can step away from a dog to answer.

A full bilingual site, English and Spanish, covering every service the salon can do. That is what the owner asked for first: customers needed to be informed about the whole range of work, not just the two or three things that fit on a card.

Under the Hood: Ranking From Zero in a Bilingual Market

With no existing search history, the SEO had to do all of the early work. The site was built to serve the Greater El Paso Area specifically, with structured data, fast static pages and service content written for the searches groomers actually get, in both languages rather than one translated as an afterthought.

That combination is what made the launch land the way it did. The salon started ranking in its local map pack immediately, and within a week it was on the first page of that map pack and receiving clients daily. Booking being self-service is what turned those rankings into appointments instead of missed calls.

Opening something new?

A new business has no search history, so the site has to earn it. That is the build I do.
